It was Texas versus Louisiana in basketball at the annual Bayou Border Battle Tournament held Wednesday and Thursday in Lake Charles at McNeese. The varsity Vidor Pirate team played Wednesday. In a hard fought battle with Vinton, the Pirates emerged victorious, 58-53.
