Fred Allen Davis, Sr., age 74 passed away Sunday April 28, 2024. peacefully at his Texas home. Allen was born February 17,1950 in Beaumont, Texas to Buck and Lenora Davis. He was a 1968 graduate of Vidor High School and then attended the Sheet Metal Apprenticeship program. He believed if you hunted, you ate what you killed. You fished and ate what you caught. You gardened and ate what you grew. Many will tell you, “he was one of a kind”. Allen is survived by his wife of 47 years, Barbara, a son Freddy, a daughter, Amanda Stoker, (and husband Anthony); 6 grandchildren; Tyler (and wife Jleigh), Tanner (and wife Ariana), Talen, Marley, Zeke, and Izzy; 2 great grandchildren Reid and Oaklynn. A brother, Gene Davis, a sister, Mary Jane Noble. Services to be held Sunday, May 5. 2024 at Memorial Funeral Home in Vidor.
