Blake Anthony Whitaker, 30, of Vidor, died Saturday, May 29, 2021. He was born on November 12, 1990, in Beaumont.
Survivors include his mother, Mary Messina; father, Bruce Whitaker; brother, Matt Whitaker; sisters, Shelbi and Kiersten Whitaker; stepsister, Ashton Sims; nephew, Otto Sims; nieces, Theia Whitaker and Aria Whitaker; aunts, Lee Ann Aldrich; Carla Peppers; Lisa Martin; Crystal Lenz; and Nicole Chandler; uncle, Mike Messina; grandparents, Bill Whitaker and Phyllis Whitmire; numerous extended family members.
A gathering of Blake’s family and friends was from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Saturday, June 5, 2021, at Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont. His funeral service was 2:00 p.m., Sunday, June 6, 2021, at Broussard’s.
