VPIFA season now underway

The Vidor Pirate Intermediate Football Academy’s season got underway Saturday with a full slate of away games. At home this Saturday at the VFW Fields on South Main, Games start at 9 a.m with the Flag Division and higher Divisions following at 10 a.m., 12 p.m. and 2 p.m.

The Vidor Pirates are facing all the usual challenges as they prepare for the 2020 football season, getting into playing shape, learning and executing plays and teamwork, but this year, new 4A opponents, plus Covid-19 restrictions are adding additional challenges for coaches and players both.
