The Vidor Pirate Boys Powerlifting team paced third at the Vidor Invitational Powerlifting meet held Thursday at Vidor High School with 39 points. Lumberton took first place with 54 points. Sour Lake-Hardin Jefferson was second with 45 points and Nederland placed fourth with 33 points.

The Vidor Lady Pirate Powerlifting team placed second at the Pirate Invitational Powerlifting meet held last week at Pirate Gym. Nederland placed first with 52 points, Vidor was second with 51 points, Sour Lake-Hardin Jefferson place third with 43 points and Lumberton placed 4th with 27 points.

The Vidor Lady Pirate junior varsity soccer team went 2-1 to take second place at the LCM Soccer Tournament held Thursday-Saturday winning their first two games before narrowly losing to host LCM Saturday. Coach Ciara Tinkle said “Thursday, our first game, we played Bridge City and won 4-0.
