Dorothy Lee Howell, 98, of Lumberton, Texas died Sunday, April 24th, 2022 at her residence in Lumberton. She was a longtime resident of Vidor, Texas and Lovelady, Texas but has spent the last year in Lumberton.

DONALD "DON" DEAN OPIE

Donald "Don" Dean Opie, 91, of Beaumont, died Sunday, April 24th, 2022 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont, Texas. He was a longtime resident of Beaumont and was a retired Instrument Operator for the company Unocal. He served his country in the United States Navy.

Martha A. Shadle

Martha A. Shadle, 73 of Vidor passed away Friday, April 15th, 2022 at her residence. A native of Beaumont, she was a lifelong resident of Vidor. Martha was a longtime Optician and she loved her family very much. Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor.

Wilma J. Jones

Wilma J. Jones, 100 of Vidor died Thursday, April 14th, 2022 at Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas in Beaumont. A native of Beaumont, she was a longtime resident of Vidor. Wilma was a member of Rose City Baptist Church and was a homemaker. She was also a member of Cathedral Quilters.

Sarah Jan Dorn, 39, of Vidor, Texas died Wednesday, April 6th, 2022 at her residence. She was a longtime resident of Vidor but was raised in Orangefield. She attended Church at Faith Assembly of God in Vidor. She worked for Mission Grounds Koffie House where she was a manager.

BETTY C. THOMAS

Betty C. Thomas, 89 of Vidor died Thursday, April 14th, 2022 at Lucas House in Beaumont. She is a native and a lifetime resident of Vidor. Betty was a member of First Baptist Church of Vidor and played the Ukulele in the Glory Band. She was a former J.P. of Pct 4 and retired from Orange County.

Margaret "Bunny" Brown, 90, of Vidor, died Sunday, April 10th, 2022 at her home. She was a longtime resident of Vidor.

Carl Leon Sides Sr., 79, of Vidor, died Thursday, April 7th, 2022 at his residence in Vidor, Texas. He was a longtime resident of Vidor and a member of St. Maurice Catholic Church in Orange. He enjoyed hunting and being outdoors or working on his truck.

RUDY JOE CRUZ

Rudy Joe Cruz, 78, of Vidor died Thursday, April 7th, 2022 at is residence in Vidor, Texas. He was a longtime resident of Vidor. He loved spending time with grandkids. Gardening and woodworking were some of his favorite hobbies. Spending time with his family meant a lot to him.

Bonnie Lee White, 77, of Vidor died Wednesday, April 6th, 2022 at her residence in Vidor, Texas. She was a longtime resident of Vidor and a member of Shiloh Baptist Church in Vidor. She loved her grandchildren and cooking for her friends and family.
