Mattie Lou Robertson, 77, of Vidor died Sunday, July 31st, 2022 at Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas in Beaumont, Texas. She was a longtime resident of Vidor and was a devoted homemaker. She had an affinity for high end antiques.

PAULIEN GUILLOTT, JR.

Paulien Guillott, Jr., passed away on July 31, 2022 after a short battle with illness. Paulien was 86 and was surrounded in his home by loving family members when he passed. He had declared in the hospital that he wanted to, “go home so I can go HOME.

Jesse Wayne Dyess Sr., born in Beaumont, TX on November 17th, 1942 to Woodrow and Willie Dyess, passed on June 30th, 2022, in Houston, TX and now walks with his Lord and Savior. Jesse was a long time resident of Vidor TX.

BARBARA JEAN LYLE

Barbara Jean Lyle, 89, of Vidor, TX entered into eternal rest Saturday, July 16th, 2022. She was a lifelong resident of Vidor and member of Pine Forest Baptist Church. Earlier in her life she was one of the founding members of Maplecrest Baptist Church.

ROBERT DARRELL RUSSELL

Robert Darrell Russell, 76, of Vidor, died Saturday, July 23rd, 2022 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont. He was a longtime resident of Vidor. He served his country in the US Air Force and was a member of Local 195 Pipefitters Union. Robert was an avid gun and knife collector.

Linda Sue Lafferty, 77, of Orange, died Sunday, July 17th, 2022 at her home. She was a longtime resident of Channelview and has lived in Orange for the past 8 years. She retired from Channelview ISD as a tax accessor. Linda was a member of 1442 Church of Christ in Orange.

SHERRY LYNN WILLIAMS

Sherry Lynn Williams, 60, of Vidor, died Friday, July 15th, 2022 at her home. She was a longtime resident of Vidor and member of Pecan Acres Baptist Church in Vidor. She loved crafting, buying yard art, sunbathing, and bowling.

LELA MARIE MCCLAIN

Lela Marie McClain was called home to her Lord and Savior on Thursday July 14, 2022 in Brenham, Texas. Lela was born May 21, 1932 to George & Ada Berwick in Starks, Louisiana. She was preceded in death by her husband Edgar E. McClain, her parents, and her four older siblings.

CHARLES LLEWELLYN EMPEY

Charles Llewellyn Empey, 76, of Orange, Texas entered into rest on July 11, 2022 in Beaumont, Texas. He was pastor of Cove Baptist Church in Orange, and formerly served as pastor at Crestview Baptist Church in Lamesa, TX. Ministry and evangelism were his love and passion.

Velma Ann Hanke, 73, of Vidor, Texas died Monday, July 4th, 2022 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont, Texas. She was a longtime resident of Vidor and was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Vidor.
