Buddy Wayne Vaughn, a long-time resident of the Orange community, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 10, 2024, at the age of 90. He spent his final moment surrounded by the warmth of his loved ones at his residence. Buddy made his mark as a devoted husband, father and grandfather.

Carol Ann January, of San Saba, Texas, passed away on May 7th, 2024, in Vidor Texas. Carol was born on November 4, 1941, to parents Adrian and Lena Neuman.

Dale Edward McVey, a beloved member of the Vidor community, passed away on Saturday, May 11th, 2024, at the age of 77. He peacefully departed from his residence, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories.

Michelle “Shelley” Buford, 62, of Vidor, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 4th, 2024, at her home. She was a longtime resident of Vidor but had been residing in Evadale for the past two years.

EWELL PRENTICE GRANT SHELLEY

Ewell Prentice Grant Shelley, 82, a cherished resident of Vidor, passed away on Thursday, May 2nd, 2024, at Baptist Hospital of Southeast Texas. Born and raised in Frankfort, Indiana he later relocated to Vidor where he was a longtime member of the community.

JESSE DENNIS PATE

Jesse Dennis Pate, 85, of Hemphill, passed away peacefully at his home on the lake on Monday, April 29,2024. Jesse was born February 18, 1939, in Woodville, Texas, to Samuel Austin and Lillie Mae Snider Pate. Jesse was a kind, humble and generous man who loved the Lord.

DR. DUNCAN GEORGE PETER BOWELL

Dr. Duncan George Peter Bowell was a cherished husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend. He passed away on April 27, 2024, at the age of 80. He was born to Fredrick Bowell and Jean Stirrett on July 22, 1943, in Thunder Bay, Ontario (formerly known as Port Arthur, Ontario).

FRED ALLEN DAVIS, SR.

Fred Allen Davis, Sr., age 74 passed away Sunday April 28, 2024. peacefully at his Texas home. Allen was born February 17,1950 in Beaumont, Texas to Buck and Lenora Davis. He was a 1968 graduate of Vidor High School and then attended the Sheet Metal Apprenticeship program.
