Preston Barnhart, 79 of Mauriceville died Sunday, April 18th, 2021 at his residence. A native of Beaumont, TX, he was a longtime resident of Mauriceville. Preston was a retired truck driver and he loved to play and sing music. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing. Visitation will begin at 6:00 pm Wednesday, April 21, 2021 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday, April 22, 2021 at the funeral home with burial to follow at Eaves Cemetery in Gist, TX. Preston is survived by his daughters Princess Theriot of Mauriceville, TX, Samantha McConnell, Judy Bryant of Semmes, AL, Tammy Hicks of Silsbee, TX, Teresa Brown of Mauriceville, TX, and Cynthia Hunter of Winnsboro, LA, brothers Thomas Lynn Barnhart and Henry Allen "Buster" Barnhart Jr. both of Vidor, TX, sisters Tina Bryant of Vidor, TX, Judy Rose Bryant of Oneonta, AL and Sheila Tucker of Vidor, TX, 14 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
