Ida Nell Hales Powell of Vidor Texas was born July 22, 1946 in Galveston, Texas to Ruby Frances Hoke and JM Vanya. Visitation for Ida will be Sunday, June 20, 2021 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Her funeral service will be Monday, June 21, 2021 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor at 10:00 AM with the interment following at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. She is preceded in death by her parents JM Vanya and Ruby Frances, and her brother Walter Hales Jr. Ida is survived by her children: Ruby L. Hales Randle and husband Dewayne , Onnie Bohr and wife Nancy, Angela Hales, Jimmy and wife Dianne Hales three sisters: Melinda and husband Robert Downs, Karen and husband Eugene Kirkindoll, Mary and husband Norman Dill, and sister-in-law Ora Hales, and aunt Alice Johnson. 10 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
