State Sales Tax Revenue Totaled $4 Billion in May

(AUSTIN) —Texas Comptroller Glenn Hegar today said state sales tax revenue totaled $4.01 billion in May, 4.5 percent more than in May 2023. The majority of May sales tax revenue is based on sales made in April and remitted to the agency in May.

NAS JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Cmdr. Lane Drummond relinquished command of Patrol Squadron (VP) 26 to Cmdr. Curtis White, a Vidor, Texas native, during a change of command ceremony on May 17. White served as the command’s executive officer for one year before taking over as commanding officer.

The Orange County Sheriff’s Office has announced that the annual Orange County Sheriff’s Office COPS AND KIDS PICNIC will be held this Friday, June 7th at Claiborne West Park, located on the 1-10 westbound service road between Orange and Vidor between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.
