OCESD#1 responds to two house fires over the weekend

In the past week, Vidor firefighters have responded to three house fires with two occurring this past weekend. According to an OCESD#1 press release, on the evening of Saturday, February 27, at approximately 8:40 p. m., OCESD#1 was requested for service due to fire in a home.

Nude tanner arrested after disturbance

Vidor Police arrested a Deweyville woman on drug charges after she casued a disturbance at a Vidor tanning salon. Shandy Lynn Justice, 26, of Deweyville was arrested February 22 at Bronze Body Tanning Salon after employees called to report she would not leave the business and was being disruptive.

Decoyed While checking duck hunters along the Frio River, a game warden contacted a boat containing four duck hunters. The “so-called” guide stated he did not have a hunting license, identification and failed to have enough PFD’s for his hunters on board.
