Floral Design Certification

The following Floral Design students received their Texas State Florist Association Level 1 Knowledge-Based Certification. In order to pass this test they had to be familiar with a variety of terminology, skills, and plants that are commonly used in the floral industry.

Friends, family and wellwishers packed Pirate Stadium Friday evening as the Vidor High School Class of 2021 received their diplomas and bid adieu to Vidor High School and their classmates, gathering together for one last time.

NOAA predicts above average Hurricane Season in 2021

NOAA’s Climate Prediction Center is predicting another above-normal Atlantic hurricane season. Forecasters predict a 60% chance of an above-normal season, a 30% chance of a near-normal season, and a 10% chance of a below-normal season.
