On Wednesday, October 26, 2022, at approximately 3:10 PM, the Vidor Police Department Dispatch Center received a call of a carjacking that had just occurred in the 300 block of N. Lakeside, just off of IH-10. The caller advised that he had just witnessed a carjacking a 2022 White Audi SUV.

On the morning of October 21, 2022, at approximately 5:36 AM, OCESD#1 was requested for service due to a structure fire. Fire crews arrived on scene in the 13000 Block of Duncanwoods, to find a 20 x 20 Detached garage fully involved. Fire crews used a single 1.75” hose line to extinguish the fire.
