Vidor Rotary Club Students of the Month were chosen from the Social Studies Department at Vidor High School. They were treated to lunch at Mission Grounds Koffeehouse and recognized with a certificate, as well as having a book each place on the Vidor Rotary green bus in their honor.

Lamar State College Orange spoke with the VHS CCMR and Career Prep classes on Friday. Kendra De La Fuente, Career & Technical Education Advisor/Recruiter brought with her 4 recipients of the LSCO Ambassador Scholarship Program. The seniors were encouraged to apply for the Ambassador scholarship.

FORT WORTH, TEXAS, February 1, 2022 – Braden Tappe, a member of Vidor FFA, caught a calf during the Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo’s Calf Scramble January 30, earning a $500 purchase certificate for a show heifer and the chance for up to $16,000 in scholarship awards.
