VIDOR’S PAST

April 29, 1969 AN INFERNO OF DESTRUCTION caused an estimated loss of $150,000 to Mac’s Auto Supply, 1100 N. Main in a conflagration which broke out at approximately 6:30 a.m. Sunday. Cause of the fire is still indetermined. The Vidor Volunteer Fire Department, assisted by the Beaumont Fire Department, fought six hours to get the fire under control and save the surrounding business houses.
