The Vidor Pirates played cross county rivals West Orange Stark last week and got off to a good start, leading 22-9 after one period and enjoying a 41-24 lead at the half. The third period was a different story though with the Mustangs scoring 30 points to the Pirates’ 10 to snatch the lead 54-51. Both teams managed 13 in the final stanza to preserve the WOS three point lead and the win.
