Susan Marie Astor Brown, 53, of Vidor, Texas, passed away on Tuesday, June 11, 2024, at Harbor Hospice House in Beaumont. Born in Memphis, Tennessee, Susan was a cherished member of the Vidor community for many years. A devoted member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Vidor, Susan’s faith was a cornerstone of her life. Susan had a passion for baking, often filling her home with the delightful aroma of homemade treats. She was an avid reader, finding joy in the works of Nora Roberts and the magical world of Harry Potter. Above all, Susan’s greatest happiness came from the time she spent with her beloved grandchildren. She is survived by her devoted husband of 27 years, Wesley Brown; her loving children, Alexis Smith, Zane Brown, and Melissa Brown; her brother, George Thomas Astor; and her 6 cherished grandchildren.
