David “Dave” Alan Mohr, 74, of Port Neches, passed away peacefully at his residence on Sunday, June 16, 2024. A native of Chicago, Illinois, Dave was a long-time resident of Port Neches and a cherished member of the community. A man of diverse interests, Dave was an enthusiastic participant in square and round dancing, which brought him joy and camaraderie. He also had a passion for landscaping, transforming his surroundings into beautiful, vibrant spaces. A devoted sports fan, he loyally supported the Chicago Bears and the Chicago Cubs, celebrating their victories and enduring their defeats with unwavering spirit. Dave was a devoted member of First Baptist Church in Nederland, where he contributed his time and energy to the congregation and found a profound sense of community and faith. Dave is survived by his beloved wife of 29 years, Stephaine Mohr of Port Neches, TX; his son, Mark Mohr, of Corpus Christi, TX; and his 4 cherished grandchildren.
