County GOP gathers in Vidor

Orange County Republicans gathered at the Vidor Elementary School Cafeteria on Tuesday night to meet their party’s candidates for nomination in the upcoming March 6, 2018 Texas Republican Party Primary Election. There was much glad-handing and animated conversations as more than 100 of the party faithful gathered to meet their primary’s candidates for nomination.


The Orange County Republican Party Chairperson, David Covey, gaveled the meeting to order shortly after 6:00 p.m. and the main event, a discussion of views of the candidates for nomination to be the party’s nominees for Orange County Judge and Orange County Precinct #4 County Commissioner positions on the November ballot began in earnest.
