Summer Reading

The Vidor Public Library Summer Reading program guest for Wednesday, July 12, 2017 was Sean Ardoin with Young Audiences of Southeast Texas. Sean is an American Zydeco musician and singer from Louisiana.

He co-lead the critically-acclaimed Zydeco Outfit Double Clutchin’ for 10 years, then started Sean Ardoin + Zydekool’s in 1999. Sean’s legacy started with legendary Creole musician Amedee’ Ardoin, the first Louisiana Creole accordionist to record the music of the Acadiana region.

The program ended on a positive note for the audience to repeat after Sean “Can’t nobody beat me at being me, cause I’m special!
