Errant driver leads to major cocaine bust

Sheriff’s deputies found these seven bricks of powdered cocaine hidden in the upholstery behind the rearmost third seat of Brandon Pay’s vehicle as he drove though Orange County.

A young man driving on the freeway, changing lanes frequently, attracted the attention of two Orange County Sheriff’s deputies who were working traffic on the Interstate 10 between Vidor and Orange. Those frequent lane changes eventually led to a traffic stop that yielded a hidden cache of twenty-one pounds of cocaine.
