Vidor cop tracks down Orange crime scene

Good, old fashioned, police investigative persistence leads a Vidor Police detective to a shooting crime scene in Orange early on Tuesday morning. According to Vidor Police Chief Dave Shows, the search for the elusive crime scene began on Monday night around 10:00 p.m. when the Vidor Police Department received a call from a Beaumont hospital nursing supervisor that the hospital had admitted a victim of a gunshot wound into their emergency room. The hospital supervisor told the Vidor Police Dispatcher that the victim was claiming to have been shot by unknown persons at a Vidor convenience store.
