The Vidor Public Library held “Itty Bitty Story Time” on Tuesday, September 20, 2022. Library clerk Sarah Screws read “How Rocket Learned to Read” by Tad Hills to the audience. Starring an irresistible dog named Rocket and his teacher, a little yellow bird. Rocket mastered the alphabet, sounded out words, and finally learned to read all on his own!
