The Vidor Pirate varsity basketball team traveled to Buna Tuesday to defeat the Cougars 50-43 in a non-district battle. Bryce Loftin led the Pirates with 26 points and 5 rebounds. Zander Lindsey contributed another 15 points and 8 rebounds in the win.
