The varsity Vidor Pirates hosted the Huntington Red Devils at Pirate Gym Friday in a non- district basketball game and came away with a hard fought 68-56 win.
The Pirates jumped out to a 7-0 lead before Huntington scored. It was neck and neck through the first quarter with ended with a 16-8 Pirate lead.
