The Vidor Police Department celebrated the promotion of Ethan Mansfield to sergeant, honored the service of retiring officer Eric Meineke and welcomed two new officers to the ranks after holding a swearing-in ceremony Monday at Vidor City Hall.
Officer Ethan Mansfield was promoted to the rank of sergeant. Sgt. Mansfield got the promotion after nine years of service.
