Former Orange County Judge Carl Thibodeaux officially took up the gavel to preside over the Orange County Commissioners’ Court this week replacing Judge Dean T. Crooks, who resigned.
A federal prisoner transport van carrying six inmates was involved in a two-vehicle collision near Vidor on Thursday morning. Six persons were transported to local hospitals.
