Strategic placement will only get you so far

Since I am not a bow hunter nor am I on an MLD hunting property I have to wait for rifle season to take a deer. That being said, I can take a hog if one happens by and I certainly can watch the deer come and go while looking through the rifle scope and saying to myself, “bang you’re dead”.

Vidor Pirates knock off unbeaten Memorial Titans for DC share

The game did not start auspiciously for the Pirates, only making it to the 40 yard line before being stopped short.

Coming off a lopsided win over Baytown Lee and then a bye week, Vidor Head Coach Jeff Mathews has had ample time to prepare for perhaps the Pirates’ biggest challenge of the season, the undefeated Port Arthur Memorial Titans. “Anytime everyone can play it is a good game,” Mathews said of the Pirates romp over the Ganders. Mathews pulled most starters after the first half.
