Ed Kelley, Sr.

Ed Kelley, Sr., 54 of Vidor, died Friday, November 16, 2018 at St. Lukes Hospital in Houston.

A native of Orange, CA, he was a longtime resident of Vidor.

Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor.

He is survived by daughters, Rhonda Johnson of Vidor, Emma Suffle’ of Blythe, CA, and Ashley Simmons of Vidor; sons, Justin Kelley of Madison, WI, Edward Kelley, Jr. of Vidor and Dennis Kelley of Vidor. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren; his mother, Sharon Valasquez of Burbank, CA, two brothers and two sisters.

David Karl Goeddertz Sr.

David K. Goeddertz Sr., 60 of Vidor died Monday, November 12, 2018 at his residence.

A native of Beaumont, he was a lifelong resident Vidor and was a pipe fitter in the oil fields. He was also a handyman and diesel mechanic.

Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. Friday, November 16, 2018 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Funeral services will begin at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 17, 2018 at Memorial Funeral Home with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor.

He is survived by his son David Karl Goeddertz Jr. of Vidor; daughter Tiffany Diane Goeddertz Morvant of Kerrville; brothers, Ronnie Goeddertz of Buna, Roy Goeddertz Jr. of Bridge City, and Jamie Goeddertz of Vidor; sisters, Amanda Browning of Bridge City and Evy Benson of Vidor; and eight grandchildren.

Jean Marie Roger Talaveraarias

Jean Talavera-arias, 52, died Wednesday, November 7, 2018 in Akron, OH.

A native of Bor Deaux, France, he came to the US 14 years ago and became a citizen in 2015. He worked for Nichelson Construction in Pennsylvania for 11 years and was a member of the International Union of Operating Engineers of local 369 in Tennessee.

He is survived by his wife, Lois Leger Talavera; son, Kenny W. Kelley; brothers, Stephan and Laurent Talaveraarias of France, and seven grandchildren.

Muriel Juanita Wilson, 82, of Vidor, passed away, Sunday, November 11, 2018 in Vidor.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, November 14, 2018 from 5 -8 p.m. at Stringer & Griffin Funeral Home in Woodville.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 15, 2018 at 10 a.m. at Stringer & Griffin Funeral Home Chapel in Woodville with burial in Beech Creek Cemetery in Spurger. Officiating will be Brother Kenny Rawls.

Sharon Ann Starkweather

Sharon A. Starkweather, 70 of Vidor was promoted to Glory Monday, November 12th, 2018 at Baptists Hospitals of Southeast Texas in Beaumont, Texas.

A native of Boston, NY, she was a long time resident of Cedarville, OH and spent the last 15 years residing in Vidor TX. Sharon attended Victory Bible Baptist Church in Vidor. She enjoyed making cards for all occasions for people, coloring crafts and making baby blankets, but she loved being a minister’s wife.

Visitation will begin at 6:00 pm Friday, November 16, 2018 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Saturday, November 17, 2018 at Victory Bible Baptist Church with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor.

Jimmie Monroe Jones

Jimmie Monroe Jones, 84, was born in Beaumont, TX on January 23rd, 1934. He passed away November 10th, 2018 at his home in Vidor, TX.

Jimmie was a longtime resident of Vidor and served his country as a Military Police in the U.S. Air Force from 1952 to 1956. Jimmie was a carpenter for over 60 years and retired from Watkins Construction.

Visitation was Monday, November 12, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Funeral services was held Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Memorial Funeral Home with interment following at Restlawn Memorial Park.

Jimmie Carrol McManus

Carrol McManus, 62 was born Santa Rosa, California to James and Mary Jenkins on July 4, 1956. She passed away November 13, 2018 at Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas in Beaumont. A lifelong resident of Vidor, she was formerly employed by Wal-Mart. Carrol was known and loved by many people and touched their lives in many special ways. Survivors include Charles Estes of Vidor, TX, step-children Tammy Chapman and Frank Estes of Vidor, TX, and Theresa Catano and her husband Jose of Mauriceville, TX, 6 grandchildren Kristen Catano of Austin, TX, J.R. Mancil II of West Monroe, LA, Joseph Catano of Beaumont, TX, Daniel, Ray and Blaine Estes of Vidor, TX, 7 greatgrandchildren J.R. Mancil III, Jolynn Lopez, Presley Homin, Jody Mancil II, Alaina, Kohen and Easton Estes, and her loving dog Boo. Carrol was preceded in death by her parents James and Mary Jenkins, husband James Rusty McManus, son Robert Douglas Stokes, and daughter Sandra Renee` Williamson.

Patricia Ann Freasier

Ann Freasier, age 66, passed away peacefully on Sunday November 11, 2018. Ann was a lifelong resident of Vidor. She was a member of Pine Forest Baptist Church and was an owner of a local Allstate Insurance Agency for over 30 years. She was a former president of the Vidor Chamber of Commerce and a member of Vidor Community Service League. Ann enjoyed gardening and traveling, as well as caring for her Schnauzer’s and Koi fish.

Cremation services were entrusted to Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Visitation will begin at 6:00 pm and memorial services will be held at 7:30 pm Thursday November 15, 2018 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor.

Ann was preceded in death by her parents Harold and Bernice Carter and brothers Rex and Arthur Carter.

Bobby Joe Yeagin

Bobby Joe Yeagin, 75, of Vidor, died Friday, November 9, 2018. He a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps. and a handyman most of his life. No services are scheduled. Arrangements were entrusted to Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. He is survived by his sister, Mary Waldrep of Brookeland; and brother, Donnie Yeagin of Austin.

Larry Wayne Fults

Larry Wayne Fults, 74, of Vidor, died Wednesday, November 7, 2018 at Christus St. Elizabeth hospital in Beaumont. He was a native of Beaumont and a longtime resident of Vidor. He was a member of Sheet Metal Local 196 and was a certified welding inspector. Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor Saturday, November 10, 2018. Interment followed at Restlawn Memorial Park. He is survived by his wife, Deborah Fults; daughter, Laura Fults- Simmons of Vidor; and three granddaughters.
