Cody Carter

Please join us as we mourn the loss of Cody Carter, born March 27, 1990, in Vidor Texas, who went to be with the Lord, on August 16th, 2018, after a tragic work accident. Cody was a loving husband, devoted father, proud son, and top-notch brother. Cody was a hard working man, and was a member of the ILA local 28 union. He would spend his days working hard for his family, yet always found time to enjoy the best of life. Cody loved fishing, hunting, spending time with the ones he loved, and pretty much any other excuse he could find to get dirty. Cody took fashion cues from no one. His signature every day look, was a T-shirt, pair of jeans, and some worn out cowboy boots. He had a life-long love affair with pizza and fried jalapeno poppers. He loved his mother and father and found special joy in torturing his brothers and sisters, who were always quick to give it right back to him.
