Jeanette Lucille Fanny Hyatt, 78, died on January 15, 2015 at Oakwood Manor Nursing Home in Orange. She was a longtime resident of Vidor, and a homemaker. She is survived by her son Curtis James Hyatt of Vidor; daughters Linda Young of Kirbyville, and Sharon Kay Yahne of Hemphill; brother Henry A. Norris Sr.

Kerry Glenn Hampshire, 60, of Vidor died Tuesday, January 13, 2015 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont. He was a longtime resident of Vidor and served in the US Army. There was a memorial service held at First Pentecostal Church at 4:00 p.m.

Joyce Arlene Brown, 78, died Wednesday, January 14, 2015, in Lufkin Memorial Hospital, Lufkin. A native of Vidor, she moved from Groves in 1992 and has been a part of the Six Mile Community. Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m., on Saturday, January 17, 2015, in the Six Mile Baptist Church.

Wade Hayes

Wade Hayes, 99, of Vidor Texas passed away on January 16, 2015. He was born in Beaumont, Texas, to Ellis and Maggie Hayes. His greatest joy came as he fulfilled and magnified his roles as a husband, father, grandfather, and greatgrandfather. He was married to his beloved wife, Vivian Hayes, for 73 years. Wade graduated from Vidor High School in 1935. He served his country in the Army in WWII.

Shelia Kay Brantley, 45, of Beaumont, died Monday, January 12th, 2015 at her home. She was a longtime resident of Vidor however, she lived in Beaumont for the past 20 years where she was a homemaker. Shelia is survived by Craig Brantley, children, Josh and Bridget Aldridge, Sheena Fredrick and Rida, Jayson and Amber McPherson, Dallas Brantley and Kasidi, and Christy Brantley. She is also survived by her 6 grandchildren, Joey Alfaro, Jr., Cayleb McPherson, Madison Alfaro, Kinsley Brantley, Kaysen McPherson, and Jemma Aldridge, 4 sisters, Tammy Hawthorne Hansen and husband Jim, Vicky Gray Taylor and husband Tommy, Sue Ann Gray Muhs, and Elsie Brantley and husband Michael, one brother, John Steven Tolbert, a brother-inlaw John Brantley ,17 nieces and nephews, and special friends Tom and Kathy Wiltz.

Nettie B. Crawford, 85, of Vidor died on Tuesday, January 13th, 2015 at her residence. She was a lifelong resident of Vidor and was a homemaker. Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 16, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Memorial Funeral Home with interment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Beaumont. She is survived by her daughters, Gwen Salter and Lynda Prescott both of Vidor and Beverly Jordan of Prescott, AZ, sons, Jay Wilson of Vidor and Jerry Crawford of Woodville, along with numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

William M. Ezell, Jr.

William M. Ezell, Jr. 84, passed away on Thursday, January 8th, 2015 in Beaumont, TX. A longtime resident of Vidor, William loved to fish and spending time in his garden. He served his country in the U.S. Army during World War II. He worked in the trucking industry for many years and was very devoted to his clients and the industry. He alsoenjoyed spending time with his family and friends and will be missed by many. William is survived by his loving wife, Hazel, of 65 years, 4 sons, Wayne Ezell of Lumberton, Ricky Ezell and wife Karen of Red Oak, TX, Ronnie Ezell and Tony Ezell, both of Vidor. He is also survived by his brother, Charles Ezell and wife Mary Ann of Bee Branch, AR, 12 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren and his little dog “Tiny”. William was preceded in death by his 2 sisters, Norma Coody and Pat Conner and also 2 grandsons, Jeremy Ezell and Billy Wayne Ezell. Visitation will be held on Monday, January 12, 2015 beginning at 6:00 p.m.
