Freda Inez Kirkpatrick

Freda Inez Kirkpatrick, 92, a lifelong resident of Vidor died Thursday, March 5th, 2015. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Vidor and was a loving wife and mother. Freda will be missed by all who knew and loved her. She is survived by daughters, Pam Kirkpatrick and Selma Wilson of Vidor, sister, Mary Nell McVey of Jonesboro, AR, and many loving nieces, nephews, and other family members. Freda is preceded in death by her husband, James R. Kirkpatrick of 52 years, and son Jerey J. Kirkpatrick. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 10, 2015 beginning at 10:00 a.m. at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor with services to follow at 11:00 a.m.. Interment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor.

Addie Madeline Eaves Romero

Addie Madeline Eaves Romero passed from this life, at the age of 94, at home surrounded by her family, on March 6th, 2015. She was born on April 1st, 1920 in Gist, Texas. Visitation will be Monday, March 9, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Turning Point Church, 3600 N. Main St., Vidor, Texas. Services will be held Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Turning Point Church. Addie was the fourth child and rst girl born to Ada and Luther Eaves and was from a family of seventeen, twelve boys and ve girls. She loved and was proud of her heritage and being a part of such a large family. She met and married the love of her life, Ryan Romero. They celebrated their 76th anniversary last October 3rd. Addie was also known as Sister, Sarah, Aunt Blondie, Granny and Old Granny. Her children and family came rst in her life. She was a true example of what a mother should be. She raised six children and many times took in other children from friends and family.
