George “Bo” Noeller

George “Bo” Noeller, 55, of Vidor died Thursday, September 10, 2015 at Baptist Hospital of Southeast Texas in Beaumont. A native of Prairie Grove, AR. he was raised in Shawnee, OK. and has lived in Vidor since 2006. Bo served his country in the US Army National Guard from 1978 - 1988. He was a member of the American Boer Goat Association. Cremation Arrangements were entrusted to Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. He was preceded in death by his wife Patricia “Lori” Noeller. He is survived by his daughter Lacey Georgette Noeller, stepdaughters Jessica Lynn Wooten Denegall and Sherry Kathleen Noeller, sisters Corrina Keith Brown, Morgan Keith Taylor, and Shana Keith Ward; half sisters George Keith-Brooks, granddaughters Jade Lynn Newland and Jasmine Marie Newland, several nieces and nephews. George was an avid fisherman and hunter but one thing he loved the most were his and Lori’s goats. They began raising and breeding goats which eventually led to showing them.

Christopher “Chris” Mark Longmire

Chris Longmire, 33, of Vidor died Wednesday, September 9th, 2015 at his residence. A native of Bossier, Louisiana, he was a longtime resident of Vidor and Austin. Chris was a 2000 graduate of Vidor High School. He was a member of the White Cane Association and the Blind and Deaf Association. Funeral services was held at 2:00 pm Saturday, September 12, 2015 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial following at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Bridge City. Visitation began at 6:00 pm Friday, September 11, 2015 at Memorial Funeral Home.

Robert Wayne Girdler

Wayne Girdler, 58, of Beaumont died Wednesday, September 9th, 2015 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont. He was a member of Local Pipefitters Union #195. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, September 13, 2015 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. Saturday, September 12, 2015 at Memorial Funeral Home. He is survived by his mother Frances Girdler of Beaumont, sisters Robin Lavonne Hale of Beaumont, Karen Denise Berg and Rhonda Lee Jones both of Vidor.

William Morse

William Harvey Morse, 100, of Brookeland, died Sunday, September 6, 2015 at his home in Brookeland. He was a native of Saratoga, and was a retired MSGT from the U. S. Air Force, serving during the Korean and Vietnam wars. He worked as a butcher at the Golden Steer for over 17 years in Port Arthur. A celebration of life will be held Friday, September 11, 2015, 10:00 a.m. at Stringer & Griffin Funeral Home with Military and Masonic graveside rites at 2:00 p.m. in the Felps Cemetery in Hardin County. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Stringer & Griffin Funeral Home of Jasper. Survivors are his daughter, Patricia Ann Morse Lowe, of Brookeland; one brother Howard of Vidor; four grandchildren; 11 greatgrandchildren and 16 great-great-grandchildren.

Denver Kelly Freeman

Denver Kelly Freeman, 67, of Vidor, Texas, died Saturday, Sept. 5, 2015, unexpectedly at home in his sleep. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 12, 2015, at First Baptist Church of Vidor with graveside services to follow. Visitation will be at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor from 6 to 9 p.m. on Friday. Denver is survived by his fiancé, Sharon Dunigan; three children, Trent Freeman and his wife, Sheryl, of Renton, Washington, Chad Freeman of Las Vegas, Nevada, and Tish Barnes and her husband, Rich, of Olathe, Kansas; two brothers, Andrew Freeman and his wife, Texie, of Vidor, Tim Freeman and his wife, Tammy, of Vidor; a sister, Venita Barry and her husband, Clair, of Dallas, Texas; two grandchildren, Korey and Colten Barnes; three step-grandchildren, Derek, Adam and Grant Houck; numerous nieces and nephews; and his cats, Bug and Troy. Denver is preceded in death by his parents, Versie (Treece) and Houston Freeman; and two brothers, Kenneth and Philip Freeman.

Roy Edward “Ed” Pearce

Roy Edward “Ed” Pearce (Hebrew name: Rohi Ezra Perez) a locksmith and musician died unexpectedly on September 4, 2015 at the age of 54. Ed is survived by his mother Betty Ames; his step-mother, Glenda Pearce; his wife, Anette Pearce; his children, David, Margaret, and Rachel Pearce; his siblings, Ronni Upchurch, Ted Pearce, Jim Pearce, Chris Pearce, and Scott Pearce; his granddaughter Alice Pearce; several nieces and nephews; and his faithful companion, his dog. He is predeceased by his father, T. Roy Pearce; his grandmother, Amanda Smith; and his grandfather, W. L. Smith. Ed was born in Beaumont on December 21, 1960 to T. Roy Pearce and Betty Ames. From an early age, he enjoyed music, laughter, and fellowship. He was a spiritual man and was involved in many church activities at Bat-Zion, including playing with several worship bands during services and sharing his talent through teaching.

Patrica “Lori” Lorainne Owens Noeller

Patrica “Lori” Lorainne Owens Noeller was born on February 9, 1968 in Oklahoma to J.T. and Gwen Owens. She is preceded in death by a half sister, Kelly Owens and half brother, Joey Owens. She is survived by her husband, George Noeller, her parents, J.T. and Gwen Owens, a brother, Todd Owens and wife Shelly, nieces Hannah and Madeline, sister, Julia Espinoza and nephews, Johnny and Jestyn Espinoza, and sister Tammy Goodman and husband Ronnie, nieces Erran and Gwyneth and nephew Jake, as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Lori was a employee of Time Warner Cable for 23 years where she gained another family. She was not a woman with a lot of hobbies or interests. One thing she held dear to her heart were her goats. Lori and George started raising and breeding goats which eventually lead to showing them. They loved it so much and met so many wonderful people that Lori’s main dream was to help kids of all ages.

Dejunia Sue Arrant-Baxter, 64, died Saturday, September 5, 2015 at her home. A native of Woodville, she was a longtime resident of Vidor. Visitation will be on Thursday, September 10, 2015 begining at 6:00 p.m. at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Graveside service will be on Friday, September 11, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Hester Cemetery in Warren, Texas. She is survived by sons, Chris Arrant and Lance Arrant, and daughter, Tammy Post all of Vidor. She is also survived by six grandchildren, brother, D.B. Dean, and sisters, Sarah Ard and Shirley Brown.

Juanita Lawhon,84, died Sunday, September 6, 2015. She was a lifetime resident of Vidor. A graveside service will be on Wednesday, September 9, 2015 at 4:00 p.m. at Stephenson Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. She is survived by two grandchildren, Corbett Netterville of Orangefield, and Beanita Brooke of Nederland, two great-grandchildren, JC Netterville and Emily Netterville.
