Barbra Ann Mulhollan

Barbra Ann Mulhollan, 79, of Orange, died Monday, January 29, 2018, at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, February 3, 2018, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange. Cremation is under the direction of Claybar Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange. She was a native of Knox City. She is survived by her husband, Gary Wayne Mulhollan; children, Alana Peddy of Mauriceville and Melanie Mulhollan of Houston; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and her brother, Edmond “Butch” Armstrong of Parkersburg, WV.

Earl Eugene Pruitt

Earl Eugene Pruitt, 90, of Beaumont, died Tuesday, January 30, 2018, at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont. A native of Beaumont, and worked as a service repairman for Centerpoint Entergy, retiring after 39 years. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, February 2, 2018, at Sabine Tabernacle in Beaumont. Burial will follow at Magnolia Cemetery in Beaumont. He is survived by his wife, Gloria Pruitt; his sons, David Neal Pruitt, Sr. of Branson, MO, Steve Pruitt of Houston; step-son, Dale Collier; two grandchildren; brothers, Carroll Pruitt and Wayne Pruitt, both of Nederland; and sisters, Ann Winn of Coco, FL and Elaine Laird of Evadale.

Grace “Liz” Elizabeth Maida

Liz Maida, 56 of Vidor died Sunday, January 28, 2018 in Beaumont, Texas. A native of Beaumont, she was a longtime resident of Vidor. Liz attended Pine Forest Baptist Church in Vidor and spent most of her adult life in sales, but she loved being a mother and homemaker for her family the most. Liz loved communicating with all people, she never meet a stranger. She was a giver and loved all people. Visitation will begin at 6:00 pm Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Thursday, February 1, 2018 at Pine Forest Baptist Church in Vidor with burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Beaumont. Liz was preceded in death by her mother Louise Wukasch, brother Sam Maida and sister Mary Grisham. She is survived by her sons Peyton Decker of Vidor, TX and Hunter Decker of TN, father and step mother Samuel J.

David Lukenbill

David Lukenbill, 67 of Beaumont, died Thursday, January 25, 2018 in Beaumont. David enjoyed watching movies and fishing at the beach. He touched a lot of lives with his personality, sense of humor and telling tall tales. He will be greatly missed. He is survived by his wife Donna of 44 years, his brother Kenny and wife Vivian, Bobby and wife Legatha, Mike and wife Alisa, and sister Janet Baker and husband Raymond. He is preceded in death by his dad and mom, Elmer and Mary Lukenbill.

Hilton W. “Buddy” McKay Jr.

A celebration of Hilton W. “Buddy” McKay Jr.’s life, age 65, of San Augustine Park, will be held at a later date. Buddy died January 26, at his home. A former longtime resident of Vidor and has lived in the San Augustine Park area for the past 3 years. He was a retired carpenter from Basco Construction of Nederland. He enjoyed fishing and hunting. He was a 1971 graduate of Vidor High School and a member of the Carpenter Local. Buddy is survived by his wife of 18 years, Shirley McKay of San Augustine Park; three sons, Brian McKay and wife, Brenda, of Bridge City, James McKay and wife, Kristal of Vidor, and Caiden Lane Anderson of San Augustine Park; three step-sons, Dustin Whitmore of Nederland, Mathew Anderson of Vidor, and Clifton Anderson Jr. of Vidor; one step-daughter, Taunda Whitmore of Vidor; three sisters, Beverly, Delores, and Connie; eleven grandchildren and one great grandson. He was preceded in death by his parents, Hilton W.

Linda Faye Henson

Linda F. Henson, 66 of Vidor died Tuesday, January 23rd, 2018 in Beaumont. A native of Lafayette, LA, she was a longtime resident of Vidor. Linda was a member of Trinity Baptist Church in Vidor and was a homemaker. She enjoyed bingo and crocheting. Visitation will begin at 8:30 am and funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday, January 25, 2018 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Linda is survived by her sons Christopher “Chris” Etheridge and his wife Keshia of Erath, LA, Kerry Henson of Rayville, LA, Robert Henson and his Fiance Theresa of Vidor, TX, father and step-mother Adam and Joyce Romero of Vidor, TX, brothers Ernest Romero of Maurice, LA and Early Romero of Delcambre, LA, sisters Elaine Stephen of Vidor, TX, Kathy Lewis of Vidor, TX, Judy Richard, Church Point, LA, Melinda Faulk, Beaumont, TX, Janice Clever Maurice, LA, and 6 grandchildren.

Marie Elizabeth “Richardson” Michael

Marie (Richardson) Michael, age 74 died peacefully at her home surrounded by her family after a recent battle with cancer. Marie was born April 22, 1943 to Cecil and Joanna (Peveto) Richardson. Marie graduated from Orangefield High School in 1961 and received a degree in Secretarial Science from Lamar School of Technology in 1963 and then worked at Gulf States Utilities until she left to work with her husband in their meat market. Later she obtained her Licensed Vocational Nurse’s Certificate and worked doing home health nursing until 2016 at which time she retired. She had 2 loving sons Jason (Bubba) and Joshua (Josh) Michael who meant the world to her. Marie enjoyed the outdoors and the many adventures with her sons from rodeos to quad racing. She enjoyed traveling in the motorhome and beating her sister, Cecile, at Scrabble or placing the last puzzle piece. She spent many hours tending to her many plants and kept the hummingbirds fed.

Lou Washington “L.W.” Locke

Mr. Lou Washington “L.W.” Locke, 86, of Vidor passed away Sunday, Jan. 28, 2018, at a Beaumont hospital. A resident of Vidor since 1964, Mr. Locke was born Aug. 13, 1931, in DeRidder, La. He proudly served his country with the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He was a hard worker, employed by Mobil for 38 years retiring as a production supervisor. There was nothing that he could not repair, including electrical, plumbing, and cars. L.W. was proud of his car restoration and was a member of the Golden Triangle Model A Car Club. Gardening was also a passion for him and he was a member of the Azalea Garden Club. Above all, his family was his greatest achievement, always offering help or guidance in any way possible or needed. He and his family were longtime members and supporters of Turning Point Church in Vidor where he and his wife had served as group leaders.

Harold Peter Tullier Sr.

Harold P. Tullier, 92 of Jasper died Thursday, January 25, 2018 at Jasper Memorial Hospital in Jasper. A native of Sorrtento, LA, he was a longtime resident of Vidor before moving to Jasper five years ago. He was a WWII veteran of the US Navy and was a Pearl Harbor survivor. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 30, 2018 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. He is survived by his son Paul Tullier of Jasper; daughters Cheryl Akbari of Houston and Lisa Marie Matterson of Lake Charles, LA; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

James “Jim” Johns, Sr.

James “Jim” Johns, Sr., 91, of Vidor, died Friday, January 26, 2018. He was a native of Sioux City, IA, and was a US Navy veteran. A private family committal was held at Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont. The burial of his cremated body will be held at a later date in Cape Mae, NJ. He is survived by his sons, Warren Johns, Sr., James Johns, Jr., and Michael Johns; eight grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; numerous great-great-grandchildren; brother, Richard “Dick” Johns; and sisters, Loretta “Jean” Hammett, Wanda Lou Johns, and Maxine “Mae” Phillips.
