Larry Graves

Larry Graves, 77, of Vidor, died Monday, October 23, 2017 in Lakeway. A native of Lyonsdale, NY, he was a longtime resident of Vidor and worked as a printer for the Beaumont Enterprise for 25 years before retiring. Visitation will be Saturday, October 28, 2017 from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Church of the Lord Jesus Christ in Vidor. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. with interment to follow at Del Rose Cemetery in Vidor. He is survived by his wife Diane Graves, sons; Patrick Graves and Richard Graves, both of Vidor. He is also survived by brothers; Ronald Graves of Rome, NY and Philip Graves of Kellogg, ID.

Erin NiCole Yates

Erin NiCole Yates, 35, of Vidor, TX died Saturday, October 7th, 2017. A native of Beaumont, TX she was a longtime resident of Vidor and worked at the Sonic in Vidor for several years. Erin liked shopping, especially for shoes, socializing and spending time with her family and friends, but her passion and life was spending quality time with her son Branson. Visitation will be Thursday, October 12, 2017 beginning at 6:00 p.m. at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Funeral services will be Friday, October 13, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Memorial Funeral Home with interment at Sycamore Cemetery at 3:00 p.m. in Burkeville, TX. Erin is survived by her son; Branson of Vidor, mother; Susan Morgan and her husband Tom of Leesville, LA, father; John Yates and his wife Betty of Vidor, 1 sister; Katie Wolfe and her husband Brian of Conroe, TX. She is also survived by her grandmother; Maggie Yates of Vidor, 2 nephews; Caine and Conner Wolfe of Conroe, along with numerous cousins, aunts and uncles.

Herman B. Allen

Herman B. Allen of Vidor, Texas for 70 years, formerly of Long Beach, Mississippi at the age of 90 passed away on September 1, 2017. Retired from Vidor Gas Service for 40 years, he is preceded in death by his parents Ethel and Wiley Allen of Long Beach, Mississippi and grandson Davin Birdwell of Vidor, Texas. He is survived by daughters Alice Ladner, Shelia Smith, Lesia Jones, and Quan Birdwell; grandchildren Herman Ladner, Wendy McAnally, Misty Smith, Brigette Duplant, Brandy Williams, and Jerry Jones; great-grandchildren Joshua McAnally, Brett Ladner, Haylee Ladner, Hayden Williams, Nole Enderle, Tessa Williams, and Aadalia Jones; and one greatgreat grandchild Conner McAnally, and two sisters Jean Walters and Katherine Phelps, both of Long Beach, Mississippi. He was cremated in Texas City and returned to his home town of Long Beach, Mississippi. A man that lived life to the fullest; he will be greatly missed.

Willie J. Burford Jr.

Willie J. Burford, Jr., 81, of Beaumont, died Thursday, October 19, 2017. A native and lifelong resident of Beaumont, he retired as a plant supervisor with BASF, Beaumont, after many years of employment. His funeral service were held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, October 23, 2017, at Turning Point Church. A committal followed at 3:00 p.m., at Hayman Cemetery, Coldspring, under the direction of Broussard’s, Beaumont. He is survived by his wife, Carol Burford; children, Dale Burford of Evadale and Susan Underwood of Fannett; and sisters, JoAnn Widner, of Bevil Oaks; Linda Bailey and Barbara Giarraputo, both of Beaumont; brother, Bobby Burford of Lumberton; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Willie “Bud” Burford Memorial Scholarship Fund, c/o YMBL, 7250 Wespark Circle, Beaumont, Texas 77705.

Bonnie Lee “Aunt Bonnie” Thompson Barnes

Bonnie L. Barnes, 81, of Vidor died Saturday, October 21, 2017 at Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas in Beaumont. A native of Mobile, AL, she was a longtime resident of Vidor. Funeral services were held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 24, 2017 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Days Saints in Vidor, with burial following at Williamson Cemetery. She is survived by her husband,Charles Franklin Barnes; children Charles Brandon Barnes, Leslie Alvin Barnes, Brian Lee Barnes, Charla Elizabeth Barnes-Alldredg; siblings, Mabel Wright, Doris Barron, Michael Thompson and James Arnold Thompson, 10 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.

Mattie Lee Smith Brady Jackson

Mattie L. Jackson was born in Mayflower, Texas on November 30, 1934 to Arthur and Ida Smith. A lifelong resident of Vidor, TX. She left here to be with Jesus on August 28, 2017. Mattie was preceded in death by her parents Arthur and Ida Smith, her brothers James Smith and Norman Smith, her sister Virginia Bearden, her daughter Rhonda Lee Brady Ward, her sons Scott A. Brady and Robert Lee Jackson Jr. Those left behind to cherish her memory is her husband of 45 years Robert Lee Jackson Sr, her sister Yvonne Goetz and husband John of Humble, TX, her children John T. Brady II and wife Aileen of Frisco, TX, Jason A. Jackson and wife Jackie of Beaumont, TX, Delana K. Jackson Galaviz and husband Joseph of Vidor, TX, Elizabeth R.

Tyler Shane Lisenby

Tyler Shane Lisenby, age 20, deceased on Sunday, October 15, 2017 in Beaumont, Texas. Tyler is survived by his father, Chris Lisenby, of Orangefield, Texas; his two brothers, Jesse Lisenby, of Fannett, Texas; Andrew Lisenby, of Fort Worth, Texas; his sister, Amanda Slacum, of Houston, Texas and his grandmother, Linda Lisenby, of Vidor, Texas. Tyler was born on January 19, 1997 in Orangefield, Texas, to parents Chris and Staci Lisenby. Tyler was an Orangefield native and attended Orangefield High School. After high school, Tyler accepted a position as a Welder at Gulfspan Industries, where he worked for more than two years. Tyler was a social, active man who was deeply involved in Mauriceville Church of Christ for the majority of his life. He enjoyed fishing, motorcycle riding, and woodworking. His family and friends will always remember him as a loving, standup, compassionate, inspirational and goodnatured person.

Debbie “Mickie” Maxwell McNeel

Debbie “Mickie” Maxwell McNeel born October 8, 1962 in Alexandria, La. passed away Tuesday October 10, 2017 in Beaumont, TX. Debbie was a life long resident of Vidor, Tx. Survivors include her husband, Lee McNeel, daughter Kristena McNeel, of Vidor, Mother Mary Maxwell of Vidor, Tx; brothers Michael Maxwell of Kirbyville, Tx, Davey Maxwell of Vidor Tx; sisters Lisa Smith and Melissa Maxwell of Vidor, Tx. She is preceded in death by her father, Vernon Maxwell. Cremation services were handled by Lumberton Family Funeral Home.
