Constable asking for help finding wanted fugitives

Orange County Precinct #4 Constable Weldon Peveto is asking for our reader’s help to find the following persons who each have at least one outstanding warrant issued by the Orange County Precinct #4 Justice of the Peace Court. Peveto said that there are hundreds of persons who are wanted for arrest on outstanding arrest warrants issued out of the Pct. #4 J.P. Court. However, he asks for the public’s help in locating the following individuals.

Outstanding warrant? Pay up by Friday or go to jail on Saturday

The four Orange County Constables announced on Monday morning that citizens of the County that have outstanding misdemeanor arrest warrants have until close of business on Friday, March 6th to make arrangements to take care of those warrants or face going to jail on Saturday, March 7th Orange County Constables Weldon Peveto, Chris Humble, David Cagle and Mark Philpott are participating in the 2015 Great Texas Warrant Roundup in their efforts to clear up the backlog of outstanding warrant cases issued through the Orange County Justice of the Peace Courts.

Orange County Precinct #4 Constable Weldon Peveto is asking for our reader’s help to find the following persons who each have at least one outstanding warrant issued by the Orange County Precinct #4 Justice of the Peace Court.

Peveto said that there are hundreds of persons who are wanted for arrest on outstanding arrest warrants issued out of the Pct. #4 J.P. Court.  However, he asks for the public’s help in locating the following individuals.

If you know where Constable Peveto can find one of the persons listed below you can call the Orange County Precinct #4 Constable’s Office at (409) 769-0513.

If you are one of the persons listed below, you can avoid being arrested by going to the Orange County Precinct #4 Justice of the Peace Court office at 190 Camp Street in Vidor and paying your fine.

Commissioners pick Toyota HR veteran as new personnel director

After interviewing four well-qualified candidates, the Orange County Commissioners Court selected Minnie Hightower of Oxford, Mississippi to be named as the next Orange County Director of Personnel. During Monday’s regular session of the Orange County Commissioners Court, County Judge Stephen Brint Carlton announced that earlier on Monday, the Court had met in a closed door executive session to interview in person the four candidates that the court had narrowed down from a field of sixteen applicants.

Many local races remain uncontested, filing ends Friday

Many May 9 local elections may be cancelled due to uncontested races or no candidates at all. The Vidor municipal election has become the most contested election locally with incumbents facing a challenge in two of four open seats on the Vidor City Council. The filing period for candidates in both city and school trustee elections ends this Friday at 5 p.m. The Vidor municipal election features open seats in Wards One, Four, and Six on the city council as well as the mayor position.
