Fire leaves family without a home

A Vidor family of eight is reeling from their losses while thanking the lord for a special blessing all in the same day. Accordin to Orange County Emergency Services Districk #1 Assistand Fire Chief Robert Smith,the family or four adults and four children lost almost all they owned in a house fire an Tuesday afternoon. Chief Smith said that only two of the family's pets were in the home when a fire broke out in the 2400 block of Highway 1131 about 1:20 p.m.

Region Jazz

2014 Region X All Region Jazz Band included Vidor High School Seniors Dakota Ard on tenor sax, Calum Nix on jazz guitar and Zach Domec on alto sax. Jazz Band One performed a total of six songs, and these gentlemen were all in that band.
