Friedeck’s re-opening Thursday under new ownership

The Vidor community has a great reason to celebrate 2020. Not only is it the beginning of a new decade, it’s the beginning of a new business.

Roger and Sheila Friedeck, who have owned and operated Friedeck’s at 200 North Main Street for almost 18 years are retiring, but with a great deal of planning, effort, and cooperation, they are leaving their successful business in great hands.

When the doors open Thursday, January 2, it will be Green Thumb Unlimited, L.L.C., owned and operated by George and Tracey Rich. The couple grew up in Vidor, and both graduated from Vidor High School, as did both their sons and daughterin-law.
