If you haven’t heard from TXGLO in two weeks, go back

On Tuesday, the Texas Government Land Office (TXGLO) began work to rebuild the first Harvey damaged home in Orange County to be reconstructed under using HUD Community Development Block Grant for Disaster Recovery Funds. Although the TXGLO Homeowner Assistance Program (HAP) for Harvey flood victims has been active since November of last year, it takes a while to process through the application and win approval from two government agencies before work can begin on your storm damaged home.

However, even though it can take some months to finally win a grant from TXGLO, the process works better if you and the TXGLO are communicating regularly.
