The 2019 VHS Project Graduation is planning a fund raising event this Saturday, April 13, 2019, at the Market Basket parking lot, complete with a celebrity to shake your hand and sign autographs. Yes, Texas Game Warden Raj Ataya from the cable television show Lone Star Law will be on hand for a meet and greet with the residents of Vidor, TX from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.

This fundraiser, a raffle and an Easter Egg Hide are events that 2019 VHS Project Graduation organization is putting on this spring to help pay for the Vidor High School Class of 2019 Senior Graduation Celebration to be held this year at Urban Air Adventure and Trampoline Park in Beaumont, TX.

“This year we’re doing things a bit different,” said Paula Wofford of 2019 VHS Project Graduation. “We’ve spent $12,000 to renting Urban Air Adventure facility in Beaumont. They’ve got an above ground obstacle course, they’ve got those jumping trampolines all over the place, there is going to be arcade games, food, cash and prizes as well as all kinds of fun things to do for our seniors. Graduating Seniors, and a friend if they want, will be locked in to the drug and alcohol-free adventure park at midnight and they will be there until 6:00 a.m. the morning following the Commencement.”
