Lady Pirates rout Lady Titans

The Lady Pirates took just four innings to rout the Port Arthur Memorial Lady Titans by score of 17-2 in Port Arthur. The Lady Pirates scored six runs in the first inning that saw six walks and one batter hit by a pitch.

After Vidor’s first batter popped out to the shortstop, Brianna Bushelle walked after four pitches, then Bailee Rowe is hit by a pitch to place runners on 1st and 2nd. Kiley Brown draws a walk to load the bases and another walk to Ashley Malagarie scored Bushelle to make it 1-0 Vidor.

The next batter, Khloie Andrus, singled on a ground ball to the pitcher, scoring Rowe and making the score 2-0 with one out.

Two more walks, the first to Julian Sanford and then Calissa Weber, scored Brown and Malagarie to up the Lady Pirates’ lead to 4-0.
