Lone gunman captured by Vidor police officers

Thirty-nine year old Brandon Holeman of Orange was arrested for evading arrest and possession of weapons and drugs following a short police pursuit in Vidor on Saturday night. One of the guns shown here is a stolen weapon and the other gun was found tucked into the suspects underwear.

A man from Orange carrying a gun in his underwear attempted to flee a Vidor Police traffic stop and was eventually stopped and captured by Rocky, the Vidor Police canine officer.

Vidor Police arrested Brandon Aaron Holeman, 39, of Orange, Texas following a Saturday evening police pursuit down a Vidor neighborhood street and charged him with evading arrest, unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon, theft of a firearm and possession of a controlled substance.

According to Vidor Police Chief Rod Carroll, the arrest incident began on Saturday, February 2, 2019, at approximately 8:50 p.m. when officers of the Vidor Police Department attempted to conduct a traffic stop on a Ford Mustang in the 1000 block of N. Main Street.
