The Lady Pirate varsity soccer team extended their winning streak to 12 with a 2-0 win over Dayton in an away game Friday. Vidor is now 2-0 in district play and will face Nederland, (2-0), in an away game Tuesday, before hosting the Port Arthur Memorial Lady Titans, (0-1), Friday in Pirate Stadium.

The Vidor-Nederland bout Tuesday will pit the only two undefeated teams and determine first place in District 21-5A.

“We beat Dayton 2-0,” said Vidor Head Girls Soccer Coach Ralph Fields. “It was a tough match as they were physical and quick on the ball. “
