Christmas Cruise will be bigger and better

The 18th Annual Vidor Chamber of Commerce Classic Christmas Cruise will happen next week on Saturday, December 8th. The location for the Cruise has changed to the Woods Plaza Event Center parking lot in the 100 block of North Main St.

The Vidor Chamber of Commerce is promising that this year’s Main Street Market and Classic Christmas Cruise will be bigger and better than ever before.

Charlotte Ragan, a member of the Vidor Chamber’s Board of Directors says there will be more activities, more prizes and more vendors, as well as the Cruise’s traditional fare of classic cars, Christmas Tree lighting, music, entertainment and Santa.

“The Cruise, which is happening on Saturday, December the eighth, will be the will be the ‘18th Annual Vidor Chamber of Commerce Classic Christmas Cruise’,” said Ms. Ragan. “And this year we will be adding some features. First of all, for all of our Cruisers, we’re adding some prize categories so that means First through Fifth Place trophies. And they are going to be some gorgeous trophies. So Cruisers, make plans to be there. The Cruiser entry fee is two non-perishable food items or one new toy of $10.00 or more value to be donated to Operation Blue Santa or a $10.00 donation. All Cruiser entry fees will be donated to charity.”
