$4,000 worth of medical tests for free

The CDC NHANES Mobile Exam Center has been set up in the parking lot of Baptist Beaumont Medical Center, Orange, Campus in Orange to gather medical information about 500 randomly selected Orange County residents. The Mobile Exam Center travels to 15 counties and/or parishes in our nation each year to collect medical information from a cross section of our nation’s population.

The hallways of the CDC NHANES Mobile Exam Center are necessarily narrow to leave room for the ten examination rooms and a mobile laboratory. The exams include a body measurement, an oral exam, a dietary interview area, a liver ultrasound room, a hearing and audio testing room, a bone density/osteoporosis examination room, a blood pressure/hypertension examination room and a blood draw/phlebotomy room, as well as a blood-testing laboratory.
