LCM’s Kayla Nichols signs to play with ETBU

Kayla Nichols, Little Cypress-Mauriceville High School soccer standout, signed today to play with East Texas Baptist University in Marshall when she begins her college career in the fall of 2019. Her academic studies with be geared toward a degree in nursing upon graduation.

According to LCM Coach, Cammie Palmer, Kayla is a four-year varsity letterman, playing center midfielder for the Lady Bears. She was awarded Newcomer of the District and Team MVP at the PNG tournament her freshman year and awarded Utility Player of the District and Team MVP at the PNG tournament her sophomore year. She was a varsity soccer captain for the LCM team and selected as First Team All-District her junior year.
