The Vidor Pirates have packed a lot of games into the last week with an away game in Bridge City Tuesday, a subvarsity tournament in Bridge City Thursday-Saturday and a home game against LCM that was moved from Friday evening to Saturday afternoon to accommodate LCM’s football playoff game.

Playing in Bridge City last Tuesday, the Pirate varsity team beat Bridge City 52-41.

“It was a back and forth game for three quarters and then we played really well in the fourth again,” said Head Boys Basketball Coach Nate Smith. “We won the fourth quarter 19-11. We are getting better, we just need to play more consistent throughout the whole game.”
