Port Arthur man dies in double collision

A twenty-five year-old Port Arthur man was killed in an unusual double collision that occurred in the eastbound lanes of I-10 near F.M. 1132. The Texas Department of Public Safety identifies the man who was the driver and sole occupant of the car that was hit twice as Paul Franco, 25, from Port Arthur. Mr. Franco was taken by ambulance to Christus St. Elizabeth’s Hospital where he was later pronounced deceased.

Texas DPS Troopers are still investigating these two crashes that took place in the early morning hours of Sunday within moments of each other.
