Student removed from school for making verbal threat

On Friday, February 23, 2018 a Vidor High School student was removed from Vidor High School and detained by authorities for using threatening language while speaking out in a classroom. As soon as the Vidor I.S.D. Police Department and the V.I.S.D. Administration investigated the incident and a preliminary report was made to the Superintendent of Schools, Dr. Jay Killgo, the District’s Superintendent, issued the following statement to parents and patrons of the School District
