Clayton was born September 13, 2000, in Fort Campbell, KY, to Jason Paul and Wendy Carol Beasley Ashworth. He passed away on December 2, 2017, from injuries received in an automobile accident. “Clay” was an energetic and spirited young man who loved life and the outdoors. It was his caring and compassionate demeanor that drew people to love him. He never met a stranger and in any place he moved was the first to make friends with the neighbors. He had a strong relationship with the Lord and wasn’t afraid to let people know. He loved working with children and enjoyed helping with the Children’s Ministry and singing in the worship choir at his home church in DeRidder. Clay had a way of teaching others about life in an odd way and through his passing he has taught us that we are not invincible, nor are we promised another second on this earth. It is suggested that you read Galatians 5:22-26 in your bible, which Clay had highlighted in his. Clayton is survived by his parents, Jason and Wendy Ashworth; two siblings, Justin and Jacy; and grandparents, Ralph and Pat Beasley and Brenda McClain. Words of comfort may be expressed to the Ashworth Family at www.labbymemorial.com.
